I am the space where I am is an exhibition of other people’s corners—places of meeting, shelter, or change.
From street-corner conversations in a high-migration area, I collect descriptions of corners of peoples homes —one per person— and the object/s that reside there. Using a paper fortune teller to playfully randomize the questions and help guide the conversation. These collected texts are then displayed in a local gallery’s corners, alongside an invitation for visitors to contribute their own.
